The event includes the following tournaments:

Master - open to all players with F.I.D.E. or F.S.I. (Federazione Scacchistica Italiana) rating higher than 1800;

Open - open to all players with F.I.D.E. or F.S.I. rating lower than 1900 (or without Elo rating);

Under 16 - open to all players up to 16 years old (born after 1994.12.31).

For the admission to the tournaments are valid the FIDE and the F.S.I. Elo rating lists July 2010.

 

Players with an Elo rating between 1801 - 1899 may choose to enroll in the Master or Open tournament.

 

Pairings: Swiss System.

 

Time control: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an addition of 30 seconds per move starting from move one.

 

Chief Arbiter: Sergio PAGANO (International Arbiter) - Flavio D'ALESSANDRO (FIDE Arbiter) - Giovanni Carlo LIISTRO (Deputy Arbiter).

 

Playing hall: Villaggio "La Principessa" - Via S.S. 18 - Campora San Giovanni (CS).

 

In the playing hall, smoking is not allowed and mobile phones must be switched off. It's forbidden to bring any electronic device into the playing area without the permission of the directors.

All italian and foreign players permanent resident in Italy must have italian competitors F.S.I.'s badge or subscribe it before the entry fee.

 

Forigner players without F.I.D.E. rating must exibit a document of own Chess Federation which prove their skill.

 

Elo F.I.D.E. variation, F.S.I. variation, norms, titles and F.I.D.E. tranches are regulated by F.I.D.E. and F.S.I. rules.

 

Any player who arrives at the chessboard 45 minutes after the start of the session shall lose the game.

 

For what is not considered in this regulations-notice are valid the norms of the F.I.D.E. International Regulations and the F.S.I. Technical Regulations in force during the tournaments.

 

The registration to the tournament implies the full acceptance of these regulations-notice. According to the Italian Act n. 196/03 on the right to privacy, we inform you that your personal information will be used strictly to the Festival events. Participants, by registering, are authorizing the organizers to use their personal data for free publication on Festival official web site.

 

The organization reserves itself the right to introduce changes that could be useful for the success of the event.

- FIDE title players (GM, MI, MF): € 10,00

- Over 65 - Female - Under 16 (born after 1994.12.31): € 35,00

- Under 16 Tournament: € 20,00

 

 

The registration, together with: name, birth date, country, title, Elo and tournament chess, will be taken in the Festival office (reception) according to the terms stated in the tournaments schedule.
